Below are the answers to some questions frequently asked by our Pipi family. If your question is not answered below, please get in touch. We aim to respond to your email within 2 business days.

Are your products Australian made?

All our prints are created locally on the Gold Coast by us. While our products are not made in Australia, we are working with a certified, ethical and sustainable manufacturer in China who use Repreve recycled material to create each garment. So rest assured you are still supporting an Australian small business who pours love and energy into bringing these products to life for your little sunny adventurers. 

How is your swimwear sun safe?

UPF stands for ultraviolet protection factor and is a measure of how effectively a fabric can block UV radiation. The highest rating possible is 50+. 

Our swimwear is UPF50+, and is considered to provide at least 97.5% protection from the sun. This UPF rating is achieved through the tight weave of the fabric. This rating applies to the areas of skin covered by our swimwear. Wear and tear, stretching, and exposure to chemicals will reduce the level of protection over time.

How do I look after my new products?

We are very proud that every Pipi Swimwear product is made from a minimum 80% Repreve recycled material. This is a material sustainably made from recycled plastic bottles. 

  • Rinse immediately in cold water after use
  • Hand wash in cold water inside out with zippers closed
  • Drip dry in a shady area, do not leave in direct sunlight
  • Do not leave wrapped wet in a towel
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Do not bleach, soak, iron, or dry clean
  • Colours may fade in chlorine and sun
  • Avoid contact with rough surfaces that may cause pilling or damage to the fabric. Pilling naturally occurs in synthetic and natural yarns due to movement and friction. Pipi Swimwear is not responsible for pilling to any products. 

Care instructions can also be found on the care label of your product. 

Do I need to create an account?

No. You are more than welcome to purchase your products as a “guest”. If you already have a Shopify account from another store your details will be carried over. Creating an account means that when you return to Pipi Swimwear to purchase more products, the check-out process is faster because some of your details are saved. 

What payment methods do you take?

We offer the following payment methods directly through Shopify: Visa, Mastercard, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal, and Afterpay.

What shipping methods do you use?

We package and send your products with Australia Post from our Gold Coast warehouse. Please see our Shipping policy for further information. 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we currently offer shipping to New Zealand, UK, Canada, and USA. If you are interested in shipping costs to another location, please contact us directly. 

What if I am not satisfied?

We are sure you will love your new Pipi Swimwear purchase, however, if there is something not quite right we do have a returns policy. Please see our Refunds policy for further information.
